General
The basics — what we do and where we do it
We provide 100% mobile auto detailing throughout the greater Tucson area, including Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Catalina Foothills, Casas Adobes, Vail, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Casa Grande, and Sierra Vista. We come directly to your home, office, or any convenient location. See our full service area list for details, or just give us a call.
Yes — every detail we do happens at your location. Our mobile unit is fully self-contained with its own generator, deionized water system, and all the professional-grade equipment we'd use in a fixed shop. We can work in your driveway, your office parking lot, or anywhere with enough room for the vehicle and a few feet of working space.
No. We bring everything we need. Our mobile unit carries fresh deionized water for spot-free rinses, and our own generator powers all the equipment. You don't have to lift a finger.
Yes. We detail cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, and most personal vehicles. Larger vehicles take more time and product, so pricing scales with size — you'll see the breakdown when you book online. For RVs, boats, or commercial fleets, give us a call for a custom quote.
Yes. Rob's Auto Detailing AZ carries full business liability insurance. Your vehicle and property are protected from the moment we arrive until the moment we leave.
Booking & Pricing
How to schedule, what it costs, how to pay
The fastest way is to book online — pick your package, pick a time slot, pick where to meet you. Takes about 60 seconds. You can also call or text us at (520) 602-8230 if you'd rather talk it through.
Pricing depends on the package and the size of your vehicle. We publish transparent, upfront pricing — no estimates over the phone, no hidden fees. Check our services page for current rates, or use the online booking flow to see your total before you commit.
For most standard bookings, no deposit is required. For larger jobs like paint correction or ceramic coatings, we may collect a small deposit to hold the appointment. You'll see this clearly during checkout if it applies.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is collected after the detail is complete and you're happy with the work.
Life happens — we get it. We just ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules so we can offer the slot to someone else. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged a small fee, especially for longer appointments.
Service Day
What to expect when we show up
It depends on the package and how dirty the vehicle is. Rough estimates:
- Express exterior: ~1 hour
- Express interior: ~1.5 hours
- Express full detail: 2.5–3.5 hours
- Elite full detail: 5–6.5 hours
- Paint correction & ceramic coatings: full day or multi-day
Nope. As long as we have access to the vehicle and a clear spot to work, you can be at home, at work, or out running errands. We'll text you when we arrive, send updates if anything comes up, and let you know when we're done.
Ideally, a flat spot with a few feet of clearance on all sides of the vehicle. A driveway, an open garage, or an office parking spot all work great. Shade is a nice bonus in the Tucson summer but not required — we'll find a way to make it work.
Tucson rain is rare but real. If the weather makes a quality detail impossible, we'll reach out to reschedule at no charge. For services like ceramic coatings that require a clean, controlled environment, we may also reschedule on very dusty or windy days.
It's helpful to pull out anything valuable, fragile, or personal — wallets, sunglasses, electronics, important documents. We treat your stuff with care, but the detail goes faster and cleaner if the cabin is clear. Loose change, old receipts, and trash can stay; we'll handle those.
Services & Add-Ons
What's included and what we can do beyond the basics
Express packages are our maintenance-level details — perfect for cars that are kept in decent shape and just need a refresh. Elite packages are a full restoration, with clay bar treatment, deeper interior extraction, paint decontamination, and significantly more time per surface. If you're not sure which to pick, give us a call and describe what your car looks like.
Yes. Pet hair removal is one of our most popular add-on services. We use specialized tools that actually get the hair out of the fibers rather than just pushing it around. For heavy shedding situations, mention it when you book so we can budget extra time.
Yes. Our ozone treatment add-on neutralizes odors at the source rather than masking them with fragrance — it works on smoke, pet smells, food, mildew, and most other stubborn odors. Pair it with a deep interior detail for the best result.
A ceramic coating is a chemically bonded protective layer applied over your paint. It dramatically increases gloss, repels water and dirt, and protects the clear coat from UV damage and contamination. In Tucson's brutal sun, ceramic coatings are one of the best investments you can make for keeping your paint looking new. Read our ceramic coating guide for the full breakdown.
Most swirl marks and light surface scratches can be corrected through our paint correction service. Deeper scratches that have gone through the clear coat may need touch-up paint, but we can often improve the appearance significantly. Send us a photo before you book and we'll give you an honest assessment.
Yes. Cloudy, yellowed headlights are common in the Arizona sun, and our headlight restoration add-on makes them clear again — better visibility at night, better resale value, and a much cleaner-looking front end.
After Your Detail
How to keep your car looking detailed
For most drivers in Tucson, a full detail every 3–4 months keeps the vehicle looking great year-round. If you park outside, drive a lot, or have kids or pets, every 2–3 months is better. Quick maintenance washes between full details extend the look even further.
For a standard detail — yes, immediately. For ceramic coatings, we'll let you know the specific cure time before you can drive in rain, wash the car, or expose it to certain conditions. We'll walk you through everything before we leave.
A few easy habits make a big difference: park in the shade when you can, rinse off bird droppings and tree sap as soon as you spot them, avoid automatic car washes with stiff brushes, and keep a microfiber towel in the trunk for quick wipe-downs. Our blog has more tips specific to the Tucson climate.
Absolutely. We don't leave until you're happy with the work. If you spot something we missed, just point it out — we'll fix it on the spot. If something comes up after we leave, call us and we'll make it right.
